I’ve written the content for eLearns and games

When somebody new joins your company, one of the best ways to get them up to speed is to use an eLearn. (Basically, an interactive presentation.) If the eLearn is quick, simple, and designed like a game, they’re pretty effective. The more like a game it is, the more people will come back and redo it. Which means they’re more likely to learn.

So I’ve worked on a couple of different varieties of this. In some, I helped design the structure, choose the content, and write up the text. In others, the company already knew what they were going to do, and just needed someone to come up with all the text.

I wrote a bunch of games

These were all specifically for the brand’s tone of voice. Things like switching out formal language for simpler words, or how to edit down a letter.

I wrote a bunch of articles

One client was creating a way for their graduates to learn all about office life. We came up with a bunch of different subjects, and different kinds of article. There were stories, quick tips and infographics. The more the graduate read, the more ‘experience points’ they gained. As they completed sections, they’d also get themselves achievements.
