If you don’t know, the Dryathlon is where you don’t drink for a month, and instead donate to Cancer Research.
The idea wasn’t mine. But in 2012, the Dryathlon’s first year, I helped.
I mainly did the quirky emails you got when you signed up, some website copy and social media posts. It was all mainly to help recruit peeps to the cause and a few silly challenges that you’d get over the month. (Like how to use an ancient pub trick to get people to donate.)
Most of those words have been buried to time, and I doubt they use them anymore. Looking over the current website, I’m pretty sure bits and bobs still remain. It looks like something I’d write. But it’s probably gone through the marketing cycle quite a few times by now.
Either way, you should donate to Cancer Research so I feel less guilty about putting a charity on my portfolio.
